Abstract : This paper is devoted to the study of the constituents of some types of Kohl, available in the markets of Saudi Arabia. It includes the study of weight change as a result of igniting the samples at high temperatures. Also C and H were determined using micro-analysis instrument, while Pb, Fe, Zn, Cu, Sb, Mg, Mn and Bi were determined by emission and absorption atomic spectroscopy. Some organic constitutents were characterized by IR spectroscopy.
