Abstract : As the labor factor is considered as the most important and essential production factor and hence acquires an observed importance at different levels in the society the study is aiming to highlight the aspects of the directions of this factor in an important and distinctive geographical and productive area in Jordan, namely Ghor Region, for the purpose of improving and developing the planning and decision-making processes. The study followed up the directions of agricultural labor factor in this Region according to its sex, source and spread among the different farm operations and months of the season, and explored the birelations of this factor and its main variables. The study showed that the "landlord" played an important role in employing and directing the agricultural laborers and "man labour element" acquired a high relative importance of "human labor" required especially in the medium and long-term fruit-trees farming. In addition, the "hired labor" also acquired an observed importance in the short-term vegetable farming in particular. From the obtained analytical results, it was noticed that each of family and hired labor were dissimilarly distributed among farm operations while family labor in particular was more similarly distributed among months compared with hired labor. Also, it was noticed that the "productive citrus-trees farming" occupied an advance rank ac cording to its need of agricultural labor and the operations of "irrigation", "weeding" and "picking and packing" and the months of "May"' "June" and "July" acquired a high relative importance in this respect. The analytical results of the study showed that the variations among the different nature-farm patterns on one hand and the different nature-farm operations required by these patterns or the different sequence-months and their needs on the other have created an opportunity for happening a certain interaction between classifications of the most contingency tables that had been tested. This interaction has reflected itself in the so called "Goodness of Fit" and "Independence" phenomena of the data under study.?
